Marlene B. Meyer

Marlene B. Meyer age 51 of Mazeppa died on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home � Larson Chapel in Zumbrota with Reverend Paul Reppe officiating. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service.
Marlene Beth Meyer was born on October 19, 1956 in Denver, CO. to Arthur W. and Melba R. (nee Zigler) Meyer. She grew up in Colorado and Nebraska and graduated from high school. She moved to Chicago and lived there for many years. In 2004 she moved to Zumbrota/Mazeppa area and was currently working as a cook for W.D.'s Bar and Grill in Mazeppa. She enjoyed cooking, taking walks in the woods, watching the leaves change and the outdoors. Marlene is survived by her children, Stanley Meyer of Carpentersville, IL, Laura Meyer, Victoria Ahlstrand, and Robert Ahlstrand all of Decatur, TX and Patricia Dixon of Euless, TX, her siblings, Vickie Bybee, Doree Gibson, Rhea Hutchinson, Loretta Meyer-Taylor, John Davis, Sam Davis, Halden Gabrielson, Monte Gabrielson, Arthur Meyer and Paul Meyer.
