Marion C. North

Marion Christine North, 90, formerly of St. Paul and Woodbury, died Monday at Red Wing Health Care Center. She was born August 10, 1917, in St. Paul to Fridolf and Agusta (Blomberg) Sward. She graduated from Johnson High School and the University of Minnesota. She married Robert E. North on September 1, 1942 in St. Paul. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in St. Paul.
Survivors include: four children, Dianne (Steve) Stubbe of Welch, David (Mary) North of Woodbury, Steven (Krystie) North of Bemidji and Nancy (Larry) Pertl of Nashville, Tenn; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Carmel) Sward of St. Paul. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
Funeral Service will be 10 A.M. Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Hope Lutheran Church, 1340 N. Hazel St., St. Paul, with Reverend Jonathon Zielske officiating. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in St. Paul. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements handled by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, Red Wing. Memorials preferred.
