Marion Arlene Lindstrom, 84, of Red Wing, MN died Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Lake City Care Center in Lake City, MN. Marion was born on February 18, 1939, in Crandon, WI to Albin and Clara (Skagen) Challstrom. At a young age she moved to Red Wing with her family and graduated in 1957, from Red Wing Central High School. On June 20, 1981, she was united in marriage to Richard “Buzz” Lindstrom. They resided in Red Wing where she worked for Jostens for many years. Marion was a member of United Lutheran Church. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and she and Buzz would attend craft shows and sell her handmade items. Going to her brother and sister-in-law’s cabin in northern Minnesota was also a favorite activity in the summertime.
Marion is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Buzz; two children, Diana (George) Grafakos of Chandler, AZ and Jeff (Heidi) Woldmoe of Red Wing; six grandchildren, Thomas, Sarah, Rachael, Christina, Katheryn and Chloe; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Amanda and one brother, Herman.
A Memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at United Lutheran Church with Reverend Justin Boeding officiating. Burial will be at the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
