Marion Pearl Haage

Marion Pearl Haage, age 84 of Red Wing, died on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Valentine's Assisted Living in Red Wing.

Marion was born on June 17, 1925 in Hager City, Wisconsin , the daughter of Albert Gustaf and Edna Cecilia (Nelson) Kask. She grew up and attended school in Hager City. She married Kurt Haage on September 29, 1951 at Svea Lutheran Church. The couple was blessed with twins Alice and Arthur. They owned and operated Haage Apartments at 409 West 4th Street from 1957 to 1974. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. She enjoyed walking, cooking, and was very meticulous about her lawncare.

Marion is survived by her son Art Haage of Red Wing; granddaughter, Jennifer of Florida; and grandson, Bryan of Germany. She is also survived by many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kurt; daughter Alice (Haage) Schmidt; one brother; and one sister.

Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson - Mahn Chapel. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
