Marian Elizabeth Ree, 85, of Red Wing died Friday at Fairview Seminary Home. She was born on March 2, 1921 in Hastings, Minnesota to Herman and Emily (Dierken) Dahlstrom. She graduated from Central High School in Red Wing. She married Ralph Baringer and he died in World War II. On 1947 she married Lloyd Ree. She worked at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company as a telephone operator, Red Wing Floral, Red Wing Shoe Factory and in the bakery department at Super Valu. Lloyd died on August 30, 1991. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, gardening, playing cards, cooking and babysitting. Survivors include two daughters, Diane (Ron) Amdahl of Rochester and Barbara Ree of Wells, Minn.; two grandchildren, Britt and Travis Amdahl; two great grandchildren, Alexis and Amanda Amdahl; daughter-in-law, Jill Johnson of Woodbury and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, one son, David; her brothers, Stanley and Manley Dahlstrom and one sister, Lucille Goyer. Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Father Charles Uhlik officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service.
