ROCHESTER Margaret Sinclair, 88, of Rochester, died Sunday (Nov. 21, 2010) at Sunrise Cottages in Rochester.
Margaret Dickson Sinclair was born Oct. 9, 1922 in Battle Creek, Michigan to John and Margaret (Dickson) Sinclair. She moved with her parents to Scotland and was trained as a Nurse in London, England. Margaret worked as a Nurse in Boston, Massachusetts before moving to Rochester where she trained and worked as a Nurse Anesthetist for the Mayo Clinic for twenty-two years. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed music, sang in local Choral Groups, and was an avid Cat fancier.
She is survived by a niece, Heather Sinclair of Belfast, Maine; a nephew, Ramsay Sinclair of Cary, North Carolina; and friends who dearly loved her. Her parents and one brother preceded her in death.
The memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 4, 2010) at Calvary Episcopal Church with Father Nicklas Mezacapa officiating. Her body has been donated to the Mayo Clinic for research and education.
Memorials are suggested to Calvary Episcopal Church or Heartland Hospice.
