Margaret Louise Seehausen

Margaret Louise Seehausen, 89, of Red Wing, died Friday February 4, 2011 at Potter Ridge where she had resided for the past four years. She was born on September 13, 1921, daughter of Jay and Norma (Bill) Nelson. She attended schools in Ellsworth. She married Kenneth Ness in June 1941 and to this union they had six children together and later divorced. She married John Seehausen, they later divorced. She lived in Red Wing and was a member of First Lutheran Church. She was an avid reader; she also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by six children; Ronald (Karen) Ness of Redwood Falls, Judy (Dale) Rucker of Urbanna, VA, Nancy (John) Bruggeman of St. Paul, Kathy (Bob Dosdall) Ness of Red Wing, Gary (Krista) Ness of Plymouth, Brian Ness of Red Wing; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Quist and one brother, Elwood Nelson.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday February 8, 2011 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Brian Scott officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at Zion Covenant Cemetery near Ellsworth.
