Margaret "Peggy" Lund

Margaret "Peggy" Lund, 91, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at her home at the Villa at Hi Park. She was born July 2, 1925 in Red Wing to Clarence and Grace (Leeson) Nelson and graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1943. She married Vernon Lund on December 13, 1944. She worked part time at Montgomery Ward for several years but her primary job was raising her four children. Vernon died on August 8, 2007.
Peggy is survived by her children, Dale (Lynn) Lund of Red Wing, Susan (Jack) Warfel of Red Wing, Duane (Gayle) Lund of Hazelwood, Missouri and Douglas Lund of Mason City, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and one brother, David (Bev) Nelson of Red Wing. She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers, Donald, Robert, Richard and Gary.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Chapel at St. Brigid's at Hi Park with Chaplin Debby Bradley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Burnside Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Christ Episcopal Church or donor's choice.
