Margaret Loos age 74 of Oronoco died on Monday, September 12, 2011at her home. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, September 17, 2011at 11:00 AM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Mahler Chapel in Pine Island with Pastor officiating.
Margaret was born on July 28, 1937 in Oronoco, MN to J. Arthur and Murva (nee Reuhl) Loos. She grew up in rural Oronoco, attended Coon Grove School and Pine Island High School. Margaret worked at Model Laundry which became Kahler Laundry. She helped her father farm and took over her father Art's canned milk route. She hauled canned milk to Minnesota Cheese in Pine Island and Maple Island in Wanamingo and later hauled to Saratoga, MN which was the last creamery in the state to accept canned milk. She also worked part-time at Seneca and sold Avon and Watkins products.
Margaret enjoyed visiting with friends, driving her car, seeing different places and farming. She loved her pets (almost every animal she had was considered a pet) and her stuffed animals.
Margaret is survived by her cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and special friend, Glen Bertsinger.
