Marcile Dorothy Truttmann

Marcile Dorothy Truttmann, 90, of Diamond Bluff, Wisconsin died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Regina Care Center in Hastings. She was born February 13, 1925 in Red Wing to Berthold and Laura (Cedarberg) Lundberg. She attended school in Red Wing. On February 21, 1941 she married Richard Truttmann in Lew London, Iowa. Together they lived and farmed in the Diamond Bluff area. While her children were young she was a homemaker and a housewife. She also drove the rural "school bus" for several years. Once her children were grown she worked for Red Wing Industries. She was a member of Svea Lutheran Church. Marcile was very musical and played piano, organ and accordion. She was a wonderful seamstress and an excellent cook and baker - her lemon pie springs to mind. She was also quite handy and was good at carpentry work. She particularly loved to travel and take bus trips.
She is survived by her four children; Wallace (Nancy) of Hager City, Nancy (Leon) Gergen of Hastings, Timothy (Chris) of Hager City and Scott (Cindy) of Hager City; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and one sister, June Abts of California.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Richard and her parents.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2015 at Svea Lutheran Church with Reverend Dean Lundgren officiating. Burial will take place at the Diamond Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and one hour prior to the service at church.
