MacKenzie Marie Isackson, 23, of Red Wing died Tuesday at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. She was born on May 25, 1982 in Red Wing to Jon and Wendy (Anderson) Isackson. She graduated from Shattuck ?St. Mary?s in Faribault in 2000. She received and accepted an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a major in Psychology in 2004. She was pursuing her master?s degree in Business Management and Human Resources from Capella University in Minneapolis and would have graduated this June. She was currently employed at Applebee?s in Red Wing and recently started serving an internship in Human Resources for Applebee?s. Survivors include her daughter, Kathryn Rose Isackson, her parents and one brother, Jordan Isackson all of Red Wing; maternal grandfather, Neal (Garnet) Anderson of Red Wing. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lester and Emily Isackson and maternal grandmother, Dolores ?Dode? Anderson. Mass of the Resurrection will be 2 p.m. Saturday Church of St. Joseph with Father Thomas M. Kommers officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Prescott, Wis. Pallbearers will be, Aidan, Brandon, Colin, Evan, Sean, Tristan and Shane Anderson, Patrick, Kevin and Kelly Weber, Ryan and Adam Buck and Doug, David, Lindsay and Adam Isackson, Jerald and Allison Westberg and Nicholas and Benjamin Solberg. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday with an 8 p.m. prayer service at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and at the church for one hour prior to the services.
