Lucille Ann Kingsbury

April 4, 1923 — July 31, 2013

Lucille Anna Kingsbury, age 90, of Red Wing finished her life's journey on July 31, 2013 at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park Villa. Her four daughters were with her in her final hours and she is now with her loving husband B.B. "Bud" Kingsbury in heaven. Lucy was born April 4, 1923 in Red Wing and grew up on her parents' family farm- Louis and Freida (Kahl) Fitschen- in Flower Valley, Hay Creek Township. She went off to high school at the School of Agriculture at the University of Minn. St Paul campus and graduated in 1941. Prior to marriage, she worked at Red Wing Pottery and St. Johns Hospital. Lucy also worked at Haven Homes. She and Bud were married on December 13, 1950 in Nerstrand. In their later years they were custodians at First United Methodist Church. Bud died on March 12, 1999. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Lucy loved gardening, playing cards and being with family. Her warmth and love made everyone welcome.

Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Enevold(Bob) of Red Wing and from Daytona Beach FL: Judy Diemer(Charlie); Jacky Larkin; Cindy Geslin (Greg Hopkins); five grandchildren Bob Enevold (Angela); Hope Enevold, Jennifer Bottke (Kermit), Andrew Larkin, Alison Larkin; three great grandchildren and one brother Iver Fitschen(95) of Vero Beach, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband and one brother Ervin Fitschen.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday. August 3, 2013 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Strunk officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and at the church for one hour prior to the service. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park for their exceptional love and care of Lucy and kindness to the family. A thank you to Heartland Hospice for their guidance in Lucy's final days. Memorials are preferred to St. Brigid's at Hi-Park or the church.
