Lucille Evelyn Bach, 86, of Red Wing, died peacefully at her home on December 18, 2012. She was born February 22, 1926 in Red Wing, to Charles and Pauline (Wanz) Tyler. She grew up in Red Wing, graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1944 and married her husband, Loren Bach on November 15, 1946. She retired from the Red Wing Shoe Company in 1988. A member of First United Methodist Church and the Redmen Club, she enjoyed playing cards, fishing, baking and camping.
Lucille is survived by her 3 daughters, Linda (Dennis) Holden, LouAnn (Jerry) Quade and Lori Ulm all of Red Wing; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Loren; a son, Lavern Bach and a grandchild, Loren Holden.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Greg Strunk officiating. Burial will be at Bay City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday and for one hour prior to the service. Memorials preferred to Mayo Health Systems Red Wing Hospice.
