LouAnn Paulette Erlanson, age 62, of Cannon Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her home with family and friends by her side.
LouAnn was born on June 12, 1958 to Llewellyn and Mildred Erlanson in Virginia, Minnesota. Born with Down Syndrome, she greatly enjoyed attending special education classes at Northfield Public Schools and Laura Baker School in Northfield from the late 1960s to the early 1980s. She loved music and was a talented disco and old-time music dancer. She enjoyed working with her hands to create all sorts of crafts and to organize family pictures. She also enjoyed traveling and visiting with family and friends having traveled most recently to Norway, Yellowstone National Park, Colorado and Saskatchewan, Canada. She cherished weekly Bible Study meetings at Wanamingo Lutheran Church and Area 57 CoffeeCafe lunches afterwards.
