Lorraine Glander

Lorraine E. Glander age 83 of Lake City died Wednesday February 21, 2007 at the Lake City Nursing Home. Lorraine was born May 23, 1923 in Chester Township in Wabasha County to Mathias & Leona (Arendt) Miller. She married Alvin Glander September 25, 1946 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Bellechester, MN. They farmed in the Bellechester area for many years until there failing health required them to retire from farming. She has been a resident at the Lake City Nursing Home for several years. Alvin died March 16, 2002. She is survived by five sons, Gary (Laurie) of Lake City, Gerald of Mazeppa, James (Carol) of Mazeppa, John of Mazeppa, Robert of Mazeppa; one daughter Lori (Fred) Eberhart of Zumbrota; four grandchildren, Janel, Brian, Cory, Todd; four brothers Mathias Miller, Elmer Miller, Albert (Bette) Miller, Ronald (Sherry) Miller all of Mazeppa; two sisters Helen (Louis) Richardson of Lake City, Justine (Alfred) Schei of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her husband, infant son, infant grandson and three brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday February 24, 2007 at 11:00 am at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Mazeppa with Father Robert Meyer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Larson Chapel Zumbrota. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church.
