Lorraine Claire Edwards

Lorraine Claire Edwards, age 84, of Red Wing died Friday, November 14, 2014 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Red Wing. She was born on March 6, 1930 in Knapp, WI to George and Clara (Lawresah) Ruthstrom. She grew up in Knapp and later lived in Menomonie, WI, St. Paul Park, MN, and Red Wing, MN. Lorraine married Harrison Edwards in 1948; together they had three children. She was an Avon lady and ran a boarding house in St. Paul Park. She loved gardening and was an accomplished seamstress who even made her own wedding dress.
Lorraine is survived by her two sons, Michael Edwards of Red Wing and Danny (Sharon) Edwards of St. Paul Park, and granddaughter, Lisa Bauer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison; daughter, Linda Bauer; and her parents.
Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015 at Discovery Community Church in St. Paul Park with Reverend Wayne Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Forrest Hills Cemetery in Knapp, WI. Arrangements are by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
