Lorelei Johnson

Lorelei Faith Johnson, 69, of Bay City, Wisconsin died Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at home surrounded by family. Lorelei was born on September 7, 1955 to Bernard and Mary (Gorski) Gutting in River Falls, Wisconsin.

Lorelei was a waitress at many cafes throughout her life including, Pizza Hut in Red Wing, Minnesota, Kruses Kitchen in Ellsworth, Wisconsin, Daves Diner in Bay City, Wisconsin, and Ray's Truck Stop in Baldwin, Wisconsin. She loved socializing and was appreciated by many for having no filter and being very truthful. Lorelei also enjoyed scratch offs, board games, and Yahtzee. She also loved crocheting and gardening. Lorelei truly enjoyed life to its fullest.

Lorelei is survived by her husband of 51 years, DuWayne Sr.; son, DuWayne (Jennifer) Johnson Jr.; grandchildren, Katelyn (Siti) Corredor and Kayley Johnson; great-grandchild on the way, Valentina Corredor; her siblings, Ed Gutting, Chris (Heidi) Gutting, Gloria Brunell, Philip (Sandra) Gutting, Bernadine Peacock, and Mary Nelson; her siblings-in-law, Bruce Powers, MaryLou Gutting, and Holly Gutting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Mary; her siblings, Robert Gutting, Larry Gutting, and Debbie Powers; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Peacock, Kathy Gutting, Bill Brunell, and Brian Nelson.
