Lonnie Walter Johnson, 45, of Red Wing, died Thursday, April 27, 2006, at his home. He was born March 18, 1961 in Red Wing to Delbert and Colleen (Kleist) Johnson. He attended schools in Red Wing and later worked for Red Wing Shoe Company and then Cannon Equipment, quitting in 1998 due to health reasons. A member of the Bearing Burners Auto Club, he enjoyed going to auctions, riding his Harley, hunting, fishing and camping. He is survived by one son, Kane Lampman of Red Wing; his father, Delbert of Red Wing; 6 siblings, Kim Sawyer of Red Wing, Kit (Tim) Busch of Frontenac, Kelly (Janney) Johnson, Scott Johnson, and Tammy McGee all of Red Wing and Delbert ?DC? (Michelle) Johnson of Ellsworth; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Tesha Nygren of Goodhue. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and his mother. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be Wednesday at Burnside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kelly, DC, Scott and Kelly Jr. Johnson, Kane Lampman and Nick and Andy Stensrud. Honorary pallbearers will be his nieces and nephews.
