Lois Jean Johnson

Lois Jean Johnson, 89, of Red Wing, formerly of Hager City, died Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Mayo Health Systems in Red Wing. She was born June 24, 1929, in Red Wing to Lawrence and Ethel (Burridge) Dosdall. She graduated from Red Wing High School. On June 12, 1954, she was united in marriage to M. Thomas Johnson in Red Wing. She worked several years for Pittsburg Plate and Glass and she and Tom lived near Hager City for many years. He died on June 4, 2001. In 2016, she moved to Deercrest in Red Wing. Jean enjoyed reading, doing crafts and traveling, taking great interest in visiting different lighthouses across the United States. She was always a very caring and giving person to her family and friends.
Jean is survived by several cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by husband and one brother Lawrence "Dode" Dosdall.
Funeral service will be 11a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Barbara vonHarren officiating. Burial will be at the Burnside Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
