Lois M. Beaham age 78 of Lake City passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Lake City Care Center.
Lois was born May 23, 1935 in Elgin Township in Wabasha County, MN to Herbert & Delores (Eastman) Plank. She married Donald Beaham May 17, 1952 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City. They lived in the Lake City area. Lois worked at Wild Wings in the frame shop and retired as the frame shop lead. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was very involved with Relay for Life. She enjoyed bird watching, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Lois is survived by four daughters, Judy (Joe) Kehren, Donna (Marty) Lyons of Lake City, Mary (Jeff) Sayler of Hastings, MN, Susan (Dane) Melrose of Frontenac; a son, Thomas (Collette) Beaham of Lake City; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; seven sisters Nancy O'Flaherty, Dorothy Blattner, Elaine Halpaus, Kathy Roberts, Shirley Meincke, Sharon (Robert) Henning of Lake City, Charlotte Plank of Northfield; 5 brothers, Raymond Plank, John (Janet) Plank of Lake City, Francis Plank of Kasson, Jim Plank of Mantorville, Ronnie (Sue) Plank of Northfield. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, two sisters Ellen Mae Plank, Virginia Henning, three brothers, Eugene Plank, Marvin Plank and Kenneth Plank.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City. Visitation will be Friday, from 4 to 7 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church.
