After a courageous battle against cancer, Linda Huppert, 59, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Linda was born in Red Wing, Minnesota to Robert (Bob) and Lois Pritchard on August, 14, 1963. Linda was raised in Bay City, Wisconsin. She graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1982. Linda paved her way to her nursing dream early by working as a volunteer in her early years. Linda became a mother in 1987. Linda married her husband, Mitch Huppert in 1998 and moved to their little horse farm in Hager City, Wisconsin in 2002. Linda accomplished her dream of becoming a nurse. She worked at Red Wing Mayo Health System for over 20 years, where she gained her nursing family while doing what she loved, caring for people.
Linda is survived by her husband, Mitch Huppert; daughter, Chelsey Strusz; granddaughter, Alexis Strusz; grandson, Jaxson Schmieg; step-son, Matt (Andrea) Huppert; step-daughter, Nikki (Dan) Tix; step-granddaughter, Avery Tix; sisters, Cathy (Dave) Brzeczek-Zinn and Sandy Pritchard; sister-in-law, Marlys Pritchard; many nieces, nephews, and her Mayo family. Linda was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Lee Brzeczek; parents, Bob and Lois Pritchard; and brother, Robert Pritchard.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 12th, 2023 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing with a one hour prior visitation from 1-2 p.m. Friday.
