Linda Hobbs passed away June 18, 2010 at the age of 56, after a 5 year valiant battle with cancer. She was amazing in her strength and faith; she continued to fight to the end.
Linda Hobbs daughter of Charles and Alice Cox was born November 8, 1953 in Lake City, Minnesota. Linda married Jerry Hobbs October 14, 1972. Linda and Jerry traveled for many years during Jerry's career with the Marine Corps making their final home in Havelock North Carolina, close to their children. Linda loved entertaining her many friends, making a home for stray cats, riding motorcycle, and visiting with family.
Linda is survived by husband Jerry Hobbs, sons Jared Hobbs (Amy) and Troy Hobbs, grandchildren Jared Jr. Hobbs, Jenna Sutton and Wyatt Hobbs of North Carolina; mother Alice Cox of Lake City; two brothers Gordon Cox (Susan) and Terry Cox (Sarah) of Lake City; two sisters Gail Seymour (Mike) and Audrey Banitt (Glen) of Red Wing; numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her father Charles Cox.
A Memorial Service will be held at Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City, Minnesota on July 17, 2010 at 10 am.
