Lillian Etta Sabrina Paulserud, age 92, of Red Wing, died Friday, August 25, at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. She was born on October 8, 1913, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Lyman and Etta (Greek) Fuller. She married Erwin Hovde on February 14, 1934, in Chaska, Minnesota. In 1940, they moved to Maiden Rock, Wisconsin, where they farmed prior to moving to Red Wing in 1961. He died on September 28, 1972. She married Melvin Paulserud on May 4, 1976, in Nashua, Iowa. He died on August 8, 1980. She worked as an x ray technician for St. John?s Hospital for eighteen years retiring in 1976. She was a member of Leo C. Peterson American Legion Post 54 and Burnson-Lillyblad VFW Post 1218 auxiliaries. She enjoyed playing solitaire, Bingo, traveling and attending her great grandchildrens? sporting events. Survivors include two sons, Dennis (Tana) Hovde of Red Wing, and Donald (Sandra) Hovde of Red Wing; four grandchildren, Kari Rehder, Jessica Buck, Tiffany Banks and David Hovde; seven great-grandchildren, David, Ryan and Tristan Rehder, Latesha, Tyrell, Tayzha and Deso Buck. Preceding her in death were one sister, Gladys Daniels and five brothers, James, Charles, Franklin, David and George Johnston. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, with Reverend Michael Dobbins officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Salem Township, Pierce County. Honorary pallbearers will be Kari Rehder, Jessica Buck, Tiffany Banks and David Hovde. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
