Leora Emma Marie Reese

Leora Emma Marie Reese, nee: Born, 82, of Goodhue, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. She was born on February 15, 1931 in Belle Creek Township to Arthur and Ella (Kempf) Born. She was baptized March 1, 1931 at Minneola Lutheran Church. She was also confirmed at Minneola Lutheran Church on February 2, 1945. On September 16, 1950 she married Wilbert Reese. They farmed in rural Goodhue and Zumbrota until moving to Goodhue where she cleaned both the post office and dentist's office. Leora enjoyed dancing and being with family and friends.
Leora is survived by her children, Judy (Norbert) Rehder of Danbury, Wis., Jean (Bob) Crouch of Crossville, Tenn.; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin (Virginia) Born and Loren (Shirley) Born, both of Red Wing, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and son, Steven.
