Leonard A. Jamison, Sr.,66, of Cannon Falls, formerly of Red Wing, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010 at Cannon Falls Medical Center. He was born January 10, 1944 in Menomonie, Wisconsin and attended school in Durand. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam War. On Sept. 5, 1970 he married Dorothy Babler in Ellsworth and they lived in Red Wing. He had been employed at Treasure Island Casino. Leonard loved hunting, fishing, computers and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Cannon Falls; 4 children, Tammy (Jeremy Soine) Jamison of Cannon Falls, Leonard Jr. (Jolenne) of Bay City, Jonathan (Patricia) of Ellsworth and Lance of Bay City; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; 2 sisters, Marion Nelson of Red Wing and Pearl (Mike)Hauschildt of Bay City; 3 brothers, Ralph Falkner and Stanley (Jeanette) Falkner both of Ellsworth and David Falkner of Hager City.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew and Odelia Jamison; his mother, Katherine Falkner; 1 brother and 4 sisters.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
