Lawrence Harold Kenitz,83, of Red Wing, died Friday, May 13, 2011 at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. He was born on November 11, 1927 to Clarence and Gladys (Pickering) Kenitz. He attended schools and served In the US Army. He worked at Red Wing Pottery and Red Wing Sewer Pipe for a number of years and then farmed for Duane Duden for many years. He enjoyed animals, playing computer games, reading, history and being with his family.
Survivors include three siblings; Lois (Gerald) Nelson of Ellsworth, Elaine Giar of Red Wing and Wayne (Sharon) Kenitz of Hollandale, Minn. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Clarence Jr., Ervin, Donald, Gerald and Bruce and two sisters, Mary Lou and Delores Kenitz.
