Lawrence "Larry" Possehl age 75 of Frontenac died Saturday, September 1, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Larry was born October 8, 1931 to George & Lorena (Meyer) Possehl. He attended school in Frontenac and Red Wing. Larry joined the Air Force and served from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War. He married Patricia Tushaus July 30, 1952 in El Paso, TX. After he was discharged in 1955 they returned to Frontenac. He worked for the Railroad and Red Wing Shoe for over 20 years. He then went to work at AE Goetz in Lake City from which he retired. He enjoyed flying, golfing, walking and spending time outdoors.
Larry is survived by his wife; four sons, Barry (Sara) of Hampton, Virginia, Kim of Owatonna, Dan (Lisa) of Red Wing, David (Dawn) of Owatonna; one daughter Rhonda (Doug) Humphrey of Mesa, AZ; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons, Thomas, Tony, and Richard; two brothers Marvin and Donald.
A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at the Frontenac Sportsman's Club at 5:00 pm. Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City.
