Larry Walter Holm, 70, of Red Wing, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Lake City Care Center. He was born on February, 26 1949, in Red Wing to Walter and Ruth (Domke) Holm. He graduated from Goodhue High School in 1968. Larry worked for Holm Brothers Construction as a heavy equipment operator for many years until retirement. He was an avid Minnesota sports fan, loved classic muscle cars and was known for taking friends on long road trips. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Larry was kind hearted and was willing to help anyone out.
He is survived by his mother Ruth; brother, Dale (Char) Holm; sister, Lori (Ray) Fenzel; nephews, Travis Holm and Matthew Langer; nieces, Tiffany (Shannon) Harrell and Ashely Langer; great-nephews, Anthony Langer, Brayden Langer, Brady Harrell, Jaxon Harrell and great- niece Kaylee Langer. He is preceded in death by his father Walter. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
