Lance Hubert Majerus, 66, of Red Wing, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2014. Born in Goodhue County to Walter Majerus and Mary (nee Liffrig) Majerus he grew up in Bellchester, MN but lived most of his life in Red Wing, MN.
Lance married Michelle Amendolar in 1968 and they later divorced. He is survived by one daughter Christine (Charles) Jakeman and their daughter, Carsyn, of whom Lance was very proud, all of Round Rock, TX; one son Steven (Charlann) Majerus of North St. Paul; brothers Roger (Pauline) Majerus of Kenyon and Dennis Majerus of Goodhue; sisters Gladys (John) Lubinski of Plainview, Kay Majerus of Rochester, and Diane (Dennis) O'Reilly of Goodhue; along with many nieces and nephews and long time friend Darlene Elwell.
The family will receive friends and family on May 10th with visitation starting at 10am and a funeral memorial service starting at 11am at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. The family would like to give great appreciation to St. Benedict's Monastery for praying for Lance through his journey. Please make any memorial donations in Lance's name to St. Benedict's Monastery 104 Chapel Ln., St. Joseph, MN 56734.
