Kristine Marie (Strom) Peterson

A memorial service for Kristine Marie (Strom) Peterson will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Mahn Family Funeral Home Rochester Chapel. Mrs. Peterson, 58, of Rochester, died Wednesday January 28, 2009 at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Kristine Marie Strom was born October 14, 1950 in Preston, Minnesota, the daughter of Clifford and Irene Strom. Raised in Lanesboro, she was a graduate of the public schools there in 1968. She attended Rochester Community College, and then became employed with the Rochester Fire Department. She married Jerry Peterson on August 17, 1974 in Houston, Minnesota. After ten years with the fire department, she began working for IBM, doing clerical work and remaining with that company for twenty-two years. Currently, she was employed as a cook in the Rochester School District Burr Oak.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Lanesboro.
Mrs. Peterson is survived by her husband, Jerry Peterson, of Rochester; three brothers, Larry (Wendy) Strom of Onamia, Minnesota, Jeff Strom of Rohnert Park, California, and Scott (Karla) Strom of Lanesboro; and a sister, Lisa (Rick) Vincent of Eyota.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 1624 37th Street NW, in Rochester, on Monday.
