Kenneth Parris

Kenneth Billy Parris Jr., 67, passed away in his home after a long battle with cancer on April 23, 2025. He was born to Kenneth and Margaret (Caskey) Parris on October 17, 1957 in Denville, New Jersey. He moved to Red Wing in 1999 with his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Parris, they later went their separate ways but remained close friends. Kenneth loved his time in Red Wing, he could be found taking walks in the parks and looking for eagles. Kenneth's family has always been important to him, especially cherishing the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As his health deteriorated, that connection with his family became even more valuable, he chose to stay in Red Wing to be close to his loved ones.

He will be dearly missed by his children Kenneth (Danelle) Parris, Robert Parris, Jason Parris, Sarah (Lloyd) Ellis, Jamie Parris, and Michelle Parris; siblings Richard Caskey, Donna Vance, Margaret (Toby) McGhee, and April Sparks; former wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Parris; 13 grandchildren Maya, Jeremiah, Jacolby, Ayden, Jayden, Lareina, Maleigha, Malakai, Xander, AlexaJo, McKadden, Mercedes, Sonja, and Desmond; 2 great-grandchldren Dakari, and Asher; nieces and nephews; friends Sharon, Mark, and many others.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Margaret Parris; and brother Wayne Parris.
