Kenneth Wayne Lauseng

Kenneth Wayne Lauseng, 69, of Red Wing, died Thursday, September 22, 2022 at his home in Loving Residence. He was born January 25, 1953 to Ralph and Juanita (Newport) Lauseng in Minneapolis, Minn. He grew up in Bloomington until his family moved to Coon Rapids where he graduated from Coon Rapids High School. He married Barbara Clearsy and the couple later divorced.

For more than 20 years Ken worked as a custodian for the Rosemount School District. He later moved to Welch where he worked at Welch Village and then to Red Wing where he owned and rented condos on Perlich Ave. For the last five years Ken has been a resident of Loving Residence.

Ken enjoyed the outdoors, especially time spent on his motorcycle. He was also drawn to classic cars and anything sufficiently shiny with a motor.

He is survived by his brother, Stan (Janice) Lauseng of Saint Francis, Minn.; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph and Roger Lauseng; and his parents.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
