Keith Eugene Nickelsen, 58 of Bay City, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. He was born August 25, 1955 in Eyota, MN to Wallace and Esther Nickelsen. He grew up in Lake City and graduated from Lake City High School in 1973. He worked for Di-Acro in Lake City until their closure and then drove truck for Michaletz Trucking Co. in Owatonna for 30 years. Keith had a deep love for his two dogs and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Linda; sons, Brian (Cheri) and Cory; step-daughter, Sherri (Jeff) Denzer; grandchildren Kaycie Enz and Jake Denzer; great-grandchild, Brookston; parents, Wally and Esther; brothers, Ken (Shannon), Kevin (Mary), and Kris; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Kermit.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday, September 15, 2013 at American Legion Harding Hall Darrington Post #357.
