OBITUARY: Kay Marie Mosher Funeral service for Kay Marie Mosher will be at 2pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Wanamingo Lutheran Church with Reverend Barbara Kopperud officiating. Linda Thoreson will provide the music. Burial will follow at Holden Lutheran Church Cemetery, Wanamingo Township, Goodhue County. Memorials are preferred to Wanamingo Lutheran Church. Kay Marie Mosher, age 66, of Wanamingo, died on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Rochester Methodist Hospital. She was born on January 1, 1941, to Claremont and Esther (Wicksel) Skillestad. She attended school and graduated from Kenyon High School before attending Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She worked for Federated Insurance in Owatonna and on June 29, 1963, Kay married Terry Lee Mosher at Holden Lutheran Church. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Owatonna before moving to Wanamingo. They owned the Wanamingo Grocery Store and Kay later worked for Dr. Walter as a secretary. She worked at the Kenyon-Wanamingo School and also was church secretary at Wanamingo Lutheran Church. She was a member of Wanamingo Lutheran Church and enjoyed crafts and playing bridge. Kay had a special loving care for her two grandchildren. Kay is survived by her mother, Esther Skillestad, of Wanamingo, MN; one son, Sam (Randi) Mosher, of Goodhue, MN; one daughter, Jennifer Mosher, of Rochester, MN; one brother, Larry (Susan) Skillestad, of Rochester and two grandchildren: Alania and Mitchell, both of Goodhue, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry, who died on December 16, 1995, and her father, Claremont. Visitation will be from 4-7pm on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Mahn Family Funeral Home Larson Chapel in Zumbrota and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
