Kathryn Rossi

Kathryn M. Rossi, 62, of Red Wing, died Sunday, February 7, 2010, following a short battle with lung cancer at Red Wing Health Center, surrounded by her family. She was born August 20, 1947 to Edmund and Eleanor (Brekke) Horst. She attended schools in Red Wing. She married Neil Rossi on November 30, 1979. She worked for Red Wing Health Center for 36 years. She enjoyed being with her husband, family, and her dog George , and cats.

She is survived by her husband, Neil; son, Tracy Theis (Kim) of Red Wing; other children, Tim (Barb) Rossi, Terry (Kim) Rossi, Troy (Tara) Rossi and Tina (Howard) Ketel all of Red Wing; nine grandchildren; brother, Eddie (Nancy) Horst of Red Wing, and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Constance Horst.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Red Wing Health Center. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials are preferred to the Fairview Red Wing Hospice or Red Wing Health Center Foundation. Funeral arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
