Kathryn Henry, 85, of Red Wing, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007 at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park. She was born January 4, 1922 in Red Wing to Theodore and Marie (Domman) Hall. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1940 and married Clinton Henry on April 6, 1946 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Wing. She was a member of St. John's, Animal Allies, The Humane Society, and various other animal welfare organizations. She enjoyed spending time with her family, feeding the birds and sea gulls and helping animals in any way she could.
She is survived by her husband, Clinton of Red Wing; her daughter, Cherre (Ed) Pohl of Red Wing and her kitty, Larry.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Hawkenson and Mildred Hall.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church with Reverend Loren Lucht officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials preferred to the church. Arrangements handled by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
