Kathleen Mary Robinson, 82, of Red Wing, died Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the Red Wing Health Center. She was born January 5, 1924 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to Howard F. and Susan J. (Anway) Lifto. Her family moved to Red Wing when she was a child and she attended school there. She married Robert B. Magnussen on February 21, 1942. The moved to California in 1955 and she received a degree in nursing at Valley Institute. Robert died in 1965. On June 8, 1968, she married John Robinson in California. They moved to Maiden Rock in 1979 and opened an IGA Store in Maiden Rock. He died in 1995 and she moved back to Red Wing in 2002. She enjoyed collecting antiques and dolls, as well as painting and crocheting. She is survived by 2 sons, Robert Magnussen; Gary ?Scott? (Jannel) Magnussen of Seattle, Washington; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd (Zita) Lifto of Palm Springs, Calif., and sister, Dorothy (Don) Seipelmeyer of Red Wing. She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands; a son, Max; daughter-in-law Kanani and one sister, Maxine Larson-Seymor. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Dan Kocher officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
