Kathleen Ann Rick

Kathleen A. Rick, age 68, of Zumbrota, formerly of N.E. Minneapolis, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 8. The visitation will be on Wednesday, March 15 at 9:30 am at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Larson Chapel, 1475 Jefferson Drive, Zumbrota followed by her funeral service at 10:30. Private interment held at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Kathleen Ann Rick was born on October 9, 1948 in Minneapolis to Earl and Mary (Lesniak) Rick. She attended school and was raised in Minneapolis. She moved to Zumbrota after her parents passed. The last 3 ½ years of Kathleen's life have been the best of her life, when she lived with her niece Anne (Dirk) Niles and her grand-niece, Melissa, and grand-nephew, Ian. She met many, many wonderful friends during this time, and her week days were kept busy at Pro Act in Zumbrota.
Kathleen loved the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Twins, she enjoyed all sorts of arts and crafts, taking care of the family dogs or "boo-boos", and spending with friends and family.
Kathleen is survived by sister, Janet (Bob) Rasmussen; niece, Anne (Dirk) Niles; nephew, Erik Rasmussen; grand-niece, Alaina (Charlie) Goldstone and Melissa Niles; great-grand-niece, Lilah; grand-nephew, Ian Niles; brother-in-law, John Powers; nephews, John (Carol) Powers, Jeff (Tammie) Powers, and David (Renee) Powers.
Kathleen was preceded in death by parents Mary and Earl Rick and sister Diane Powers.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to be made to Pro Act 224 South Main St Zumbrota, MN 55992. A special thank you to the incredible staff at Pro Act, especially Susie Bordson and Jo Erickson.
