Katherine Sue Hinck

Katherine Sue Hinck, age 55 of Lake City, passed away on October 26, 2012 at the Golden Living Center East in Rochester. She was born in Bristow, Oklahoma on April 16, 1957 to Leonard and Angeline (Berndt) Prescott. She grew up in the Rochester area and attended Rochester schools. She married Roger Hinck of Lake City in July of 1990 and divorced in 1992. Katherine lived her entire life in Southeastern Minnesota, where she worked a variety of jobs. She loved cats, long walks in parks, scenic drives, camping, gardening, dancing, visiting with family and friends, and spending time with her son's dog, T.J.
Katherine is survived by her son, Jessie A. Hinck of Lake City; mother, Angeline M. Prescott of Rochester; two sisters, Cynthia (Maurice) Weinrich of Lake City and Sandra L. Fitzgerald of Rochester; and special friend, Howard D. Ward of Stewartville.
Katherine is preceded in death by her grandparents.
Memorial service will be on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City with Reverend Daniel Kroll and Reverend Dennis Valleau officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
