Karen Lynn Day

Karen Lynn Day passed away at Pine Haven Care Center, Pine Island, MN, at age  67, on March 21, 2022.  She was predeceased by her parents, Dean L. and Donna Pieffer Day, her brothers, William Day and Wayne Day, her close friends, Craig Churchill and John Roseboom.

Growing up on a farm in Pine Island, she developed a deep fondness for animals which over the years resulted in her gifts of time and resources to the Humane Society.  As a consequence of possessing an endless vocabulary, she enjoyed passing leisure times working crossword puzzles.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Angie Jewson of Marshfield, MO, her son, Tony Jewson of Rochester,  MN, her sisters, Deanna Day of LaCrossse , WI and Laura Makula of Wittmann, AZ; and, four grandchildren, Cody Jewson and Lacy Jewson of Rochester, Damon Hedgepeth of Springfield, MO and Jagger Robinson of Marshfield, MO.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
