June Lorraine Veith

June Lorraine Veith, 88, of Red Wing, died Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Seminary Home. She was born on November 26, 1926 in Pierce County, Wisconsin to Otto and Christine (Loer) Plifka. She graduated from Red Wing High School in 1944. On May 24, 1947 she married Dale Veith at St. John's Lutheran Church. They lived in Red Wing and for 34 years worked at the Red Wing Shoe Company until retiring in 1987. Dale died on July 4, 2012. She was a member of United Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, crocheting, knitting, golfing and fishing.

Survivors include two daughters, Kay Lee (Tom) Gysbers of Almena, Wis., Dalette (Red) Schwalboski of Spicer, Minn., two grandchildren Kristen (Donald) Sirinek of Randolph and Ronelle (Chad) Jeseritz of Spicer; four great grandchildren, Kaidy, Joshua and Zachary Sirinek and Brylee Jeseritz. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and one sister, Lois Firl.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Karl Rydholm officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery.
