ROCHESTER - June Arnold, age 93, of Rochester, died Monday, October 5, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester - St. Mary's Campus.
June Elizabeth Siem was born June 6, 1922 in Rochester to Edward J. and Fay (Carly) Siem. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1940 and worked for the Kahler Corporation before becoming a secretary for the Mayo Clinic in 1942, retiring in 1980. On July 15, 1974 she married Everett Arnold. June was a member of the Senior Citizens Center where she was active in the "Kitchen Band". She also enjoyed square dancing.
Survivors include her niece, Donna Buske (Tim) Almisted of Minneapolis; and nephews, Donald (Shirley) Karau of Wabasha, MN; Charles (Denise) Karau of Rochester; Thomas (Rosemary) Buske of Granbury, TX; and John (Kathy) Buske, and Joseph (Kathy Buske, both of Eagan, MN. Her husband, three sisters, Constance Karau, Catherine Buske, and Doris Greer, and her niece JoAnn (Karau) Bidsler preceded her in death.
Private family burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Friends may share a memory at www.mahnfamilyfuneral home.com.
