Julie Ann Steberg

Julie Ann Steberg, 63, of Wanamingo died Sunday, May 30, 2021 in Wanamingo.

She was born on December 27, 1957 in Owatonna to James and Phyllis (Boraas) Carlson.

She grew-up in Wanamingo and graduated high school in 1976 and worked at Hub Foods in Zumbrota for over 20 years. She would also teach Sunday school and babysit. Julie will be remembered as being a kind, positive, loving and caring person. She enjoyed bowling, feeding the birds, reading, taking care of her cats, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy Sorensen; son, Nicholas (Beth) Steberg; step-children, Avery, Brandon, Chris, and JulieAnne Sorensen; sister, Cathy (Dean) Cocker; brother, David (Sara) Carlson; nieces and nephews, Joseph (Libby) Carlson, Andrew (Racheal) Carlson, Phillip (Lindsey) Carlson, Alli, and Alex Blackwell; and many great nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday June 6, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wanamingo with 1hr of visitation prior.

Inurnment will take place after the service at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
