Judy A. Nelson

Judy A. Nelson, 73, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at her home. She was born on April 27, 1945, in Red Wing to Robert and Rosella (Sather) Gisslen. She graduated in the top 10 in her class from Red Wing Central High School. She worked various jobs throughout her life, but mostly for Lawrence Transportation and Randy's Restaurant. She was a hard worker and honest person. She loved her rescued pets, both dogs and cats, enjoyed cooking, gardening and was an avid Minnesota Vikings football fan.

She is survived by two children, Donna (Mike) Polski and Nathan (Stephanie) Nelson; her mother, Rose Gisslen; four grandchildren, Derek, Mikayla, Brekah and Braeden. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert and two brothers, Paul and Steve.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019, at the Zumbrota Care Center Chapel, 433 Mill Street in Zumbrota. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date. Funeral arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.
