Joyce Jane Roper (Bishop), 84, of Red Wing, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at her home, where she wanted to be. She was preceded in death by one son, Michael; husband, Warren; one brother and three sisters. She is survived by her children, Brenda (David) Hanks; Steven (Terry) Roper and Dan (Mary) Roper; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren, along with many other family and friends.

A visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Red Wing with Pastor Clay Oglesbee officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Lake City. Funeral arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
