Joseph Leo Lemieux

Joseph Leo Lemieux was born on November 25, 1962 on the Lemoore Naval Base in California to Joann (Cory) and Leo Lemieux. Joe passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2014.
Joey spent most of his life enjoying the outdoors on the family farm in Ettrick, WI. He loved to go trout fishing, hunting, and trapping, with family and friends. Having spent the majority of his life in Wisconsin, Joey was an avid Packer fan. He graduated from Galesville/Ettrick/ Trempealeau High School in 1982 and followed his other passion, cooking. He went on to receive a degree at WWTC, La Crosse, WI in Culinary & Business Management. Joey began his journey as a successful chef. He spent the last 20 years with his at Treasure Island Casino family in Red Wing, MN Joey was previously married to Laura (Bundy). They were blessed with three beautiful children that he is so proud of. Joey was a simple man, full of laughter and love. He enjoyed life to the fullest and made many friends along the way.
He leaves behind an extensive list of family and friends including his beautiful children, Vincent, Ethan, and Savannah, Lake City, MN; his mother, Joann (Cory) Lemieux, Winona, MN; his partner and best friend, Stacy Hall and her four daughters, Brianna, Annika, Cianna, and Grace of Ellsworth, WI; five siblings, Tony (Kay), Winona, MN, Tim, Ettrick, WI, Randy (Diane), Valdez, AK, Matt (Tracy), Wausau, WI and Lana (Mark) Severson, Galesville, WI. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo, and grandparents, Curtis and Helen Cory.
A Celebration of Life for Joey is being held Saturday, March 22 starting at 2:00PM at Deer Park Pavilion on Prairie Island in Winona, MN. A Gathering in Remembrance will be held in Lake City, MN this Sunday, March 23, from 2:00PM - 5:00 PM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home in Lake City, MN
