Johnathon Dale Szyszka

Johnathon Dale Szyszka, 48, of Red Wing, passed after a lengthy, rare, blood cancer leaving behind his father, Dale Leonard Szyszka, his mother, Judith Fern Szyszka, his sister, Brandi Jo Brooks, and his longtime girlfriend, Myk Anderson.  He will additionally be missed by his aunts, uncles, and cousins, and friends who all helped him laugh and smile when the pain was too much.  He enjoyed being outside: pursuing canoeing, camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, target shooting, and traveling the United States from one coast to the other.  He had a brilliant mind applying it to creative passions including drawing and hobbyist mechanical and computer engineering.  He could take anything apart and make it work better upon reassembly.  He possessed an empathetic heart for both people and animals, helping many along his journey.  His large personality and even his stubbornness will be missed greatly.
