John Adam Raley, age 40 of Lake City, Minnesota passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the Lake City Hospital.
John was born on February 20, 1969 to Michael Raley and Patricia Ann Holden in Winona, Minnesota. He grew up in the Lake City and Red Wing surrounding areas. He did Plaster Core work and he also worked as a handyman. John enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. John also loved to meet new people and had a heart of gold.
He is survived by his son Trevor Raley of Indiana; daughter Keylee Halsworth of North Dakota; mother Patricia (Bob) Albrecht of Lake City; father Michael Raley of Red Wing; brothers Bobby Albrecht of Indiana, William Raley of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Bill Albrecht of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; sisters Mary Jo Albrecht of Lake City, Gena Halverson of Red Wing, and Kim McDeid of Zumbrota; paternal Grandmother Marie Raley of Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Joseph Raley; maternal grandparents James and Florence Holden and Harry and Mary Albrecht.
A Memorial Service will be on Monday, August 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City with the Reverend Randall Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
