John Hans Hove, 44, died on April 10, 2006 at his home in St. George, Utah. He was born on September 10, 1961 in Red Wing, Minnesota, to Alden Hove and Barbara (Ramm) Redmond. He was married to Lynda L. Hove (Mierow). They were married in Maui, Hawaii on February 6, 2002. John was raised in Minnesota, a true Vikings fan. He was a bird watcher, and a world traveler with his beloved wife. John loved helping people and had many loving friends. He graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. John fell in love with St. George many years ago and he and Lynda fulfilled his dream moving to St. George in 2004. John was a buyer for Service Ideas of Woodbury, Minnesota for the past 10 years. Pat Murry, owner, was his mentor and John felt was a man of outstanding integrity. John had great compassion. Everyone loved him. John had a unique spirit that drew people to him. John is survived by his loving wife, Lynda of St. George; his mother, Barbara (Dan) Redmond of Chippewa Falls, Wisc.; 3 children, Zachary, Victoria and Alexander Hove all of Inver Grove Heights; 4 step-children, Lisa (Justin) Powell, Michael, Ryan and Scott Rapp, all of Lakeville; 3 step-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Shelia (Dean) Bruemmer of Winona, Connie (Russ) Nichols of Red Wing and Donna (Terry) Spaeth of Chippewa Falls; one brother, Dewey Hove of Red Wing; a half-brother, Wade (Tiffany) Hove of Virginia and 2 step-brothers, Dan (Barb) Redmond of Tennessee and Patrick (Amy) Redmond of Massachusetts and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend William Plautz officiating. Burial will be at the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, John would like donations be made to the charity of your choice.
