Joel D. Larsson

Joel D. Larsson,72, passed away on July 19, 2023 at the Riverbend Assisted Living and Memory Care Center in Rochester, MN.

Joel was born September 2, 1950 in Belmond Iowa, to Craig & Virginia (Tillman) Larsson. The family moved to Chicago in 1964 and Joe graduated from St. Charles High School. He then joined the Army from 1969 to 1970. Joel moved to Marlboro, MA. and worked and managed hotels. He moved home to Minnesota in 1993 and bought his mother and sisters restaurant. Joel retired from the VA Hospital in St. Cloud after 15 years as a Chef. Joel enjoyed drafting and was photographer and developed pictures. He loved working in his flower beds. His last 2 years he lived in Rochester in an assisted living facility.

He is survived by a sister Barbara (Howard) Kennedy of Zumbro Falls, two brothers, Steven Larsson of Goreville, IL and Craig Larsson of Minneapolis. Joel was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Eric Larsson
